Setup: Noah signed up to help at VBS at our church this week. But because he’s still at the age to ‘attend’ VBS we encouraged him to ‘attend’ and not ‘lead’. This morning Noah told the person he would have been working with that he couldn’t help her anymore.
Noah: So J, I can’t help you with your games station because I need to be part of the classes.
J: Oh! Did your parents tell you that?
Noah: Well, my dad was ok with me helping but my mom wasn’t. And you know happy wife, happy life. *shrug*
I just cannot with this kid.
