You know when you’re invited to participate in something that you know you have no business being in? That was me this afternoon…being celebrated as 1 of 150 black women in Toronto making HERstory.
Being involved in the photoshoot alongside my sister @drkrissy_thomas was pretty amazing. I just kept thinking back to how I used to proof read her uni essays, up until I could no longer comprehend what she was writing about.
Two completely different career paths…equally celebrated. Thanks @howshehustles for your vision.
