sto·ry (stôrē/), nounan account of past events in someone’s life or in the evolution of something.
I’m often fascinated by people’s stories. Met Wendy tonight at the Town of Aurora Music in the Park. I was one of the emcees and she led the attendees through stretches during intermission. At one point, she came up to chat and get a picture and I asked one simple question ‘so tell me how did you end up doing what you do?’ She told me her story. Someone who she trusted, spoke into her life and suggested that she tries what she now does for a living.
One simple question. One honest answer. Got me to a whole lot of thinking. Ask someone a question, any question (within reason of course). Listen to the response. There are beautiful stories out there.
