Plain Sight

Many times the true meaning of Christmas is missed even though it’s right in plain sight. I mean the word says it all.

I love the holidays, I love the food, the time spent with friends and family, the gift giving and the gift receiving. I love everything about it. But even more than all of that I love the real meaning of Christmas.

Hallmark movies tease it a bit, The Grinch who stole Christmas says it straight out. “Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! “Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store.

Maybe Christmas … perhaps…means a little bit more!”

It’s the homestretch to the day we celebrate Christmas and for me, the fact that Jesus was born is the most exciting thing at this time of year. So this week, as you tackle your final Christmas preparations, whatever your belief, consider ‘Maybe Christmas… perhaps…means a little bit more!”

Not sure whose quote this is but I love it ‘just a beggar, telling another beggar where to find bread.’
