Does anyone else have little tricks they play on themselves to get things done? Come on…please tell me I’m not the only one? And yes…for those thinking about this question, booking an appt 30 mins before you actually need to be there so that you arrive on time, is in fact a trick 🤷🏾♀️.
Ok so here’s one that I think about OFTEN to help me embrace ‘done vs perfect’. Actually, I change my mind I’m not calling it a trick anymore. This quote friends👆🏾, is one of my rose coloured glasses (I have many). See…I figure if I get excited about discovering new opportunities to improve, the fear of imperfection/failure will be less paralyzing. I mean who doesn’t love secret opportunities?
Done vs. perfect doesn’t mean I do a shoddy job…it simply means that getting projects out is better than them ‘sitting on the shelf’ (or let’s be honest…in my Notes app) while I obsessively obsess over something that nobody will notice♕.
